I wonder if Sansa, Littlefinger, and Sandor aren’t meant to re-play the Cat-LF-Ned/Brandon “triangle” once more. Here you have LF, once in love with Cat but then losing her to a Northern man (two, actually), the latter of which he eventually betrays and is executed. Now, LF is pursuing Cat’s daughter, who has as-yet latent feelings for a man who has the Northern look like her father. Perhaps they are meant to play out that dynamic once more, only this time with strikingly different results. LF’s primary weakness is his feelings for Cat, which he has transferred to Sansa. Could he have another “duel” for a redheaded girl’s hand in his immediate future? If so, will he come out of it with more than just a scar running up and down his chest?

What you say her is very interesting. I love it because it really makes sense. I have also wondered why Littlefinger's scar is described just like that,so that it reminds us Sandor's trademark stroke. As you suggest, this time the stroke will probably be lethal for Littlefinger. I can't find the exact description of that scar, but it was a significant scar across his body, as I read somewhere,so it is not far-feteched to think that this time Petyr won't be so lucky. Besides, we know someone who is known for cutting people in half.

Ah yes, it's true, LF already seems to have a "target" carved on him, doesn't he?? ;-)
It also makes one wonder what post-QI Sandor's views on killing will be. From Sansa's POV, we know that she wishes that his rage was "gentled" and yet she values his ferocity. And I've talked before about how I don't think Sandor had any particular taste for killing in the first place other than (a) when it was absolutely necessary, or (b) when it was on orders. Will the QI make him lose his taste for killing completely? Would he still be able to do it if it was absolutely necessary? Would he not even question it if it involved Sansa? I'm inclined to think so. Like most people, I do not want Sansa to have blood on her hands, but I'm not entirely sure I want blood on Sandor's hands either, even though I do want them to "defeat" LF somehow. Such a dilemma!
Still, would be nice to see Sandor finish what Brandon Stark started....

I had not thought of it before, but you are right! Petyr's scar is like a little dotted line for Sandor to follow . I don't want to see Sansa killing anyone, but I wouldn't mind Sandor killing. He may not have a taste for it really, but he is ferocious. Ned did not particularly like to kill, I don't think, but he did it when he deemed it necessary. I could see a "gentled" Sandor being much the same way--no pleasure in it, but would do it if needed. Here's what I want. I probably won't get it. I want Sansa/Sandor to maim the crap out of Littlefinger and escape him. Then, I want Lady Stoneheart, like the Fury she is, to find Littlefinger and scare the hell out of him before she kills him--make him look at what his "love" for her has done. Good eye for the repetition of the love triangle!

Yes! I like this idea, sillerthings. Leave LF incapacitated in some way and then get the fuck out of dodge and leave him for LSH to finish him off. Let's face it, even though there are a lot of "justified" deaths in ASOIAF, there are very few moments of epiphany to go along with them. Take Joffrey for instance -- glad he's dead, yes. But he died still believing himself a VICTIM, that his vindictive uncle had "cruelly" and unjustly poisoned him. He did not have that moment of "oh I'm dying because I'm an ass and everyone hates me, oops." I would LOVE for LF to have that moment. To SEE exactly what he has done, what the cost has truly been. How his "love" for both a mother and a daughter literally destroyed the former and drove away the latter. Damn, that would be so satisfying.... sigh.

A bit blood-thirsty today? LOL. A nice dotted line for Sandor to cut, like a little chlid? The dotted line will be wasted if Sandor doesn't finish him off. I know I shouldn't but I'd love to see that. But if there is anyone with more reasons than Sandor to kill Petyr,it is Lady Stoneheart. That would be a fitting ending for him.

Ugh, when it comes to LF, I'm a freaking vampire, lololol. No punishment is too harsh for him. Hell, even that blooper of Aidan Gillen slipping gives me an odd thrill.
