So, despite what SOME people may think (ahem, Elio), I think there are several moments that are Sandor related in Alayne's new chapter from TWOW. I know some of these have been mentioned before, but for the sake of having them all in one place, I'm starting a list here:
The chapter starts in Sweetrobin's bedchamber and he says:
The wording of this puts me to mind of another time when another man declared that he would kill anyone who would hurt her, while in HER bedchamber:
Then you have this description:
The sun was slanting through the thick yellow windows, and dust motes danced in the light like tiny golden insects. Though snow had blanketed the heights of the Giant’s Lance above, below the mountain the autumn lingered and winter wheat was ripening in the fields. Outside the window she could hear the laughter of the washerwomen at the well, the din of steel on steel from the ward where the knights were at their drills. Good sounds.
Eyesofmist already wrote some commentary about this, and I agree with everything she said. I see Sandor references: the yellow windows, the golden insects, the lingering autumn and the ripe wheat--Sandor's story of the 3 Hounds dying in the yellow grass of autumn. A richer, autumn gold is his house color. There is so much yelllow color imagery in this chapter.
The washer women at the well, as eyesofmist pointed out, recalls when Sansa hears the washerwomen gossiping about the Hound vs. the Kettleblacks and the sound of steel on steel--the sound of powerful men practicing with their swords.
Alayne's idea was to create a Kingsguard. Even though she was regularly beaten by Joffrey's Kingsguard, she seems to have some positive association if she recommends it for Sweetrobin--hmm...now why could that be?
When she runs into Myranda, she finds:
Myranda was wearing a grey woolen dress, a green hooded cloak, and a rather desperate look.
Myranda is dressed in a grey dress and a green cloak--the same colors the Hound wore in the Hand's Tourney, and he wore a green cloak when Sansa was forced to look at her Father's head (and when he was pretending to be a pig farmer w/ Arya)
Corbray gave her a dark look. “Lyonel sends his regrets. He remains at Heart’s Home with his peddler’s daughter, watching her belly swell as if he were the first man who ever got a wench pregnant.”
Oh, that’s an open wound, thought Alayne. Lyonel Corbray’s first wife had given him nothing but a frail, sickly babe who died in infancy, and during all those years Ser Lyn had remained his brother’s heir. When the poor woman finally died, however, Petyr Baelish had stepped in and brokered a new marriage for Lord Corbray. The second Lady Corbray was sixteen, the daughter of a wealthy Gulltown merchant, but she had come with an immense dowry, and men said she was a tall, strapping, healthy girl, with big breasts and good, wide hips. And fertile too, it seems.
Alayne could not help herself. She smiled and said, “My father is always pleased to be of service to one of Lord Robert’s leal bannermen. I’m sure he would be most delighted to help broker a marriage for you as well, Ser Lyn.”
“How kind of him.” Corbray’s lips drew back in something that might have been meant as a smile, though it gave Alayne a chill. “But what need have I for heirs when I am landless and like to remain so, thanks to our Lord Protector? No. Tell your lord father I need none of his brood mares.”
For all that Lyn Corbray is a disgusting character, here is that theme of the second son being frustrated and angry. It reminds me of the Hound’s bitter declaration that he has no wife nor lands to forsake in becoming the a member of the Kingsguard. Am I right in thinking Corbray is going to be in the tourney to try to be part the Winged Guard? And like the Hound, when he was denied lands and title, even after his brother's misdeeds, eventually turned on his masters. Will Lyn Corbray do the same to Petyr?
Alayne turned abruptly from the yard… and bumped into a short, sharp-faced man with a brush of orange hair who had come up behind her. His hand shot out and caught her arm before she could fall. “My lady. My pardons if I took you unawares.”
I know many people have seen this connection to the way the Hound's hand shot out to keep Sansa from falling from Maegor's Holdfast. Also the mention of gold dragons--that's what the Hound won at the Hand's Tourney.
A lost cloak. I don’t know if it’s significant, but any time a cloak is mentioned in a Sansa chapter, I take notice.
Her riding cloak was heavy green wool trimmed with brown fur, and clasped at the throat by a niello brooch in the shape of the broken wheel of her house. There's another green cloak, and there is Sansa noticing the brooch that clasps it--similar to the way she took in the Hound's white cloak and jeweled brooch.
She smiled just for him, and said a silent prayer to the Maiden. Please, he doesn’t need to love me, just make him like me, just a little, that would be enough for now.
Is it significant that Alayne/Sansa prays to the MAIDEN in regards to Harry, but when she prays for Sandor, she prays to the MOTHER? I would like to think so.
Oh, Lothor! You beautiful, Sandor-ish fellow. Sansa HUGS him for that.
When Sansa talks to Harry about his bastards, the names stood out to me. First of all, Alys is the name of the Karstark girl who runs away from an arranged marriage, to marry the Thenn in a borrowed cloak of the Night’s Watch.
Cissy made me think of Sissy—as in Arya—given to a man-at-arms. Saffron with the honey colored hair made a lot of us think of the Bear and the Maiden Fair.
And of course, best of all, Alayne's favor belongs to....another.
So, no, Elio. The Hound is not mentioned by name, not a single time. Metaphorically, however, I think he's all over the place, and I like Katie's theory that as they get closer to meeting in real life, the thoughts of him will get less specific.
The chapter starts in Sweetrobin's bedchamber and he says:
“I wouldn’t let them hurt you!” Lord Robert said. “If they try I will make them all fly.” His hand began to tremble.
The wording of this puts me to mind of another time when another man declared that he would kill anyone who would hurt her, while in HER bedchamber:
“I could keep you safe," he rasped. "They're all afraid of me. No one would hurt you again, or I'd kill them”
Then you have this description:

the eight victors would be expected to spend the next three years at Lord Robert’s side, as his own personal guard (Alayne had suggested seven, like the Kingsguard, but Sweetrobin had insisted that he must have more knights than King Tommen), so older men with wives and children had not been invited.

By the time they arrived at the gatehouse, both of them were red-faced and panting. Myranda had lost her cloak somewhere along the way.

Near the keep, she ran headlong into Ser Lothor Brune and almost knocked him off his feet. “Harry the Heir? Harry the Arse, I say. He’s just some upjumped squire.”
Alayne was so grateful that she hugged him. “Thank you. Have you seen my father, ser?”
