I agree that Tyrion and Littlefinger are sexually aggressive and leering towards Sansa, controlling her in all senses including her sexuality, which I hate. Sandor is never like that, he is mean to her and says nasty things, but because he is all real, no pretenses, and treats her like some couples do, being brutally honest because he does care. He means no harm. In Spanish there's a saying :" Who loves you well will make you cry". This is what Sandor does, telling her what she doesn't want to hear and she does the same to him when they are on Maegor Holdfast. His brutal honesty is over the top, but everything in Sandor is excessive: his anger, his honesty, his brutality but also his bravery or his passion. No middle ground with Sandor, and it's problematic but also part of his appeal, and Sansa is drawn to him as much as he is drawn to her.

Okay, so, just last night, I was supping with squidproquoink, kitamere, and kimberlite8, and squid mentioned how there's this guy on Reddit who rewrites the dialogue of scenes in ASOIAF in Shakespearean style, and apparently he did the SanSan Blackwater scene, and she said that it would be really cool if we filmed it... with me directing!! I was like... uhhhh YES PLEASE! How funny she brought it up when I have been thinking about this so much lately?? LOL
But seriously, I bet we could raise a decent amount of money for something like that if we reached out to the SanSan community, do you think? Even if it's not the original dialogue?

I'd watch it! Didn't someone do a kickstarter for a Harry Potter/Maurauders film?

Yes, there's a post on Tumblr about two HP fan movies, one of them about Snape and the Marauders. I'd love a fan movie representing this scene, especially if you are the director. It must be someone like you, who understands the true meaning of the scene and the essence of the characters. I wonder who you would cast for the roles and I wouldn't want Sophie as Sansa even if it was possible. Her portrayal in the show made me come back to the book image and seeing her has become uncomfortable for me.
With Rory it's different because he made a decent character with what he was given but he's never been the real Sandor in my head. He stayed young, passionate and fierce, like he is in the books.

Well, for Sansa, I actually know this actress who was in my short film a few years ago; she's 16 but she looks younger, and she is sooooo Sansa. Not just in looks but, like, in life! LOL... She's terribly innocent and naive and badly in need of her own Hound, lmao. Here's here Facebook page. The only question is if she can pull off the performance of this scene; she's primarily a pop singer nowadays, so I'm not even sure if she's been keeping up with her acting at all, LOL. Squid says she knows a guy whom she thinks can play Sandor; he's the right age and build and has a deep voice, though she says he might be "too handsome", but we can fix that with make-up. ;-) But I'm glad you think this is something viable that people would genuinely like! And fwiw, I'm 99.9% sure that the HP fan film you're referring to was directed by a guy I went to film school with, LOL.

I think people would love it. Could we see the guy to? I'd love too. And Sandor is never said to be ugly except by Arya when he asked her. The disfigurement makes him ugly, not his features. Only the hooked nose could be unattractive in his description but nothing else.
Is the actor very tall? Well, he only needs to be much taller than the girl for that scene, I guess.
The girl is very nice and she looks sweet, which is the right look for Sansa. Sophy is pretty but she doesn't look sweet any more. She did in the first seasons but not now. She can't look further from Sansa than she does now.
I wonder why Sandor is described as gaunt when he is so young and strong. Perhaps to suggest how much he is suffering internally?

I hope so! We need to budget it out before we start asking people for money, LOL, but I feel like it shouldn't be too expensive... I hope. She showed me some pics on her phone, so I don't have access to them. He's good-looking but in an average sort of way, if that makes sense. He's not 100% Sandor headcanon, but he's definitely passable. He's "almost 30", dark-complexioned, good eyebrows, etc. I can see it. I just need to actually see him read the scene now, LOL. GRRM says that Sandor would be "average" without the burns, and avergae is certainly not "ugly". Sansa refers to him as ugly a few times, but I think she's mentally comparing him to obvious pretty boys like Joffrey and Loras, and she's also focusing on the disfigurement. He's 6'5". :-) Agreed. She was sweet in S1, but now she has Resting Bitch Face, LOL. Oh definitely. I'm sure his inner turmoil and pain manifests in his face. And I'm willing to bet that, when Sansa meets him again, she will notice a marked and softened difference in his appearance.

Wow, 6'5" is very tall indeed! The way you describe him he sounds great for the role as long as he can act,of course. He doesn't need to be exactly like book Sandor, although I wouldn't complain, hehe. I'll miss the hooked nose though if he doesn't have it,hehe.
Resting bitch face, LOL. I didn't know this expression and had to google it, hehe. And it really goes fine with her expression,as if something stunk next to her. You people have an expression for nearly everything and very often they are really funny.
It's incredible how much she changed for the worse, I don't like what he looks like now and she looked lovely in S1.
