Exactly, that was my whole point. We're starting to see more of a Sansa that would be better equipped to meet Sandor somewhere in the middle (and vice versa). She's no longer censoring herself like she used to, and I think that is important because she will NEED to be 100% on the level with him when they reunite. Not that she wasn't before, but she did hold back at times, mostly because she was afraid he'd flip out on her. But now, with a gentler, less ragey Sandor and a more assertive Sansa, I think they'll be able to find MORE of an equal footing with each other.
As for the pillow talk, I don't care either UNLESS it leads to Sansa spilling about her scandalous kiss with The Hound, lol.

I understand why you like her to be bolder, but I liked them the way they were,so raw and honest. I liked Asha and Quarl together, playful, naughty and bold, and it was ok,but I liked Sansa and Sandor together because they were unlikely and unique as a pairing. If she starts flirting with him like any other girl in KL and he loses his gravity and starts behaving like Harry Hardyng they will be an average couple among many. I liked them because they were special. Of course it would be nice if they could flirt, but not in such an obvios way,Littlefinger Style. If their meeting is like a rom-com I think I won't enjoy it,not for them. I expected something different from them, based on what we have read so far. Those incredible conversations they had, how much I miss them. If she starts firting like this with him he may not like it,she will be like any other lady at court, making eyes at all the pretty boys.
I know you see this differently, but I want that gothic atmosphere back, not a romatic comedy.

I don't think we see it differently at all. When I say "bolder", I mean she won't hold back as much if she feels the need to speak her mind with Sandor. She censored herself a couple times before in their encounters (like when she stopped herself from jabbing him about Gregor), but she might not hold back on something like that now. They will still be "raw and honest", but she's not gonna flirt with him like she does with Harry... or even AT ALL, because their relationship never was that. Sansa never had to pretend with Sandor, the way she is having to pretend with Harry (and LF and pretty much EVERYONE in the Vale), but at the same time, she's quicker to stand up for herself if someone slights her, and THAT is the part of "Alayne" that I like. And, again, that was always inherent within Sansa, but thanks to the "mask" of Alayne, she has the freedom to speak more openly and assertively than she had before. And that is what I think will become advantageous in her reunion with Sandor. She was honest with him before, but she can be even MORE honest with him now. Does that make sense?

Definitely no rom-com for Sansa and Sandor, but if he starts in with a teasing innuendo amidst their gothic, heavy conversations (as he has been wont to do) and she is able to understand and give it back, it would add the next element to their relationship. They are honest with each other--completely, but that Serpentine scene, before he fell into his heavy broodiness, I saw a sense of play. He played like a wild animal with teeth, so it was still a little scary, but he was teasing.
I thought when he told her about his grandfather and the lioness that he sounded relaxed or conversational. I want that gothic atmosphere between them. I miss it too, but one of the things I love about their interactions is how normal their interactions are, lacking pretense. So, I don't want that false flirting exactly, but if Sandor says, "I want a song," I'd like Sansa to be able to say "Oh, I'll give you a song, all right."

Exactly!! If he starts in with that "song" business again, she is gonna know PRECISELY what he's referring to this time! LOL! Yes, I agree, he was trying to tease and bait her in the Serpentine Steps Scene, but she was just not getting it then. That's probably why he was brooding afterwards, hahahaha.
